ACCA Fellowship and Why it Matters
Not all senior accountants or practice heads are chartered and certified - but does this matter? In a word, yes! ACCA accountants are recognised as financial experts due to their experience, knowledge, networking and ability to support their clients. As well as a thorough understanding of accounting and compliance, members must demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Most importantly, fellowship of the ACCA demands a commitment to the highest standards of ethical behaviour. Conduct and performance are closely monitored, and there is an expectation that members will lead by example, setting high standards both for themselves and the profession.
We recommend that when appointing a new accountant, you only consider practices headed by a professional who is both chartered and certified.
